Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well?
What a 3 weeks we've had! We met up with friends - Andy, Richard and Simon in Railey Bay, Krabi Province, the region is stunning with dramatic limestone formations rising out from the turquoise sea, very zen!
Railey has a beautiful beach and is known for its rock climbing so we had to give this a go! Susie tackled her fear of heights and made it to the top of the highest climb, phew! We really enjoyed it except for one misshap - Brad fell on a fat Canadian, which at least helped break his fall ha ha :o)
We kayaked one day - knackering! Spent evenings on the beach watching the orgasmic sunsets, very zen!
When out running one morning we came meters from a whole family of monkeys, well sweet! We've also seen huge lizards, snakes, and kittens :o)
Next stop was Ko Phi Phi Don - an absolutely beautiful island with tall green cliffs surrounding the white sand beaches - we met up with the rest of the wedding party and got ready for Sarah and David's big day. The wedding was beautiful, it was the perfect day and great to spend time with friends.
We went on a group dive trip and snorkelling around neighbouring Ko Phi Phi Leh - the setting for 'The Beach' movie, amazing fish and coral and swimming in a breathtaking lagoon.
Susie celebrated her 29th birthday, being treated to a surprise thai cooking course - we hope to be experts in the cuisine as we've eaten so much of it! This was followed by a relaxing oil massage and a lush dinner and drinks on the beach, with the odd Samsong bucket or 3!
We've now parted company with friends so have headed to Hat Bo Phut for a week of relaxation (v zen) - we feel like we need a holiday after the past 3 weeks! We'll then be off to a full moon party in Ko Pha Ngan and then on to Ko Tao for more exploring.
Lots of love Brad and Susie xxx
ps please note the use of zen, you know who you are!
