KHAO LAK

Coming to the end of 2 weeks of luxury and relaxation. A lovely hotel and great to have thai food and lush seafood again. Khao Lak was hit hard by the Tsunami but the area is recovering well, it's great to be able to help support the local economy.

We've started each day with a run along the beach - beats the old run into work! Days have been spent chilling in the sunshine building up a nice tan, a spot of yogo and gym sessions, our reward = evenings enjoying 1 pound majitos on the beach.

Hired a scooter, a nice pink number! - went off to a few local waterfalls (Chong Fa and Sai Rung) and to see some other beaches, got a bit lost as hard to read the signs due to the lingo! Susie was designated driver for the first time, a few wobbles but the locals just assumed she had too many Singha's

Off to Phuket tomorrow to start our Padi Diving Course, eek!
