Hi both
Lovely to read your latest blog, it all sounds fantastic. Nan and Grandad were so pleased to hear from you and Nan was so impressed with all your obstetric knowledge about babies being engaged, birth dates, scans etc - just what ever aunty and uncle to be should know! I've been up to Liverpool and Newcastle this week. It was really moving being in Liverpool and you not being there Gem, lots of memories of old times - did you get the text I sent to Wes's phone? The weather at long last is so lovely and it feels so unusual to have sun. Your car is in autotrader Gem and we've got one person so far coming to see it tomorrow, fingers crossed. Anyway, happy travelling. Love Mum/Salxx

Have you named the van? Has Wes still got hair? So many questions! Worcester finally got some sun, I finally watched Transformers AND in a shock announcement Suzie has handed in her notice at P W Media! Happy days!!

Hi Kids,
how's life in the van? Hope you're enjoying it as much as the earlier part of the trip. Kerry and Ian popped round to see us tonight. Kerry looks really well. We went out with Rob, Jaq, Rich & Sue on Fri night. Bit of a tything run followed by an Indian in the Rajkot. I spent the day in the garden on Sunday (repointing the wall, and re-staining the wooden furniture) Geri went dress shopping with Hel for outfits for Claire's wedding. Next social event to look forward to Nige's summer bash at Yew Tree Cottage - better get some nurofen in! Well, that's all for now, take care and keep in touch. Lots of Love, Dad n Gig xxx
Kerry
Really really good to hear from you sis, missing you loads. Today we have sunshine which is so lovely, however its not quite up to your tempertaures over there! And there's no clear blue waters to go snorkling in around here, just a bit if flood water but it smells really bad - I don't think you'd want to paddle in it let alone snorkle!
Having a really slow day at work and wishing the hours away to get home and enjoy the sunshine. Speak soon
Lots of love Kerry, Ian and baby xxx

Hi Kids,
Great pics of Ayers Rock. I expect you're in the "van" by now, so I hope it's going ok. Yesterday was forecast to be the only good day in a long time, so we had a barby last night with Nat, Ollie, Kirst & Steve. Kirsty thinks the babies head is engaged now, so although it's officially 9 weeks to go, there may be some news earlier than expected. Sunday Gig and I went up to Deb's - had a great day, went for walk on Cannock Chase, weather was ok. We also went to see Hel and Daisy (who is now walking). It's raining again today, and the floods have not yet subsided in Tewksbury and Gloucester (1000s of people have no fresh water or electricity in the worst floods in living memory; check the BBC website when you get chance). So all is well with us, thanks for ringing at the weekend, it was great to hear you. Catch up soon
love Dad n Gig xx

Hi,
It's Friday afternoon and I'm one of the few people left in the office, because most people have had to leave because of the crazy rain we're having - more and more floods, its just not stopping.
Ian's been at work in Redditch today and he's been travelling back for nearly 2 hours now and is still not home, every road he tries to go down is either flooded or closed!!!!!
Popped home earlier to check our house, not that it's anywhere near a flood area but thought I'd check, and we do actually have a rather massive puddle forming outside the front of the house and it looks as though it is planning to creep in over the door step and through the door- perhaps even the rain is fed up of being so wet and wants to come in for a bit of warmth and dry time!!!!!!
The rain is forcasted for at least another 48 hours over worcestershire so you can imagine worcester folk aren't looking very happy. The crazy thing is yesterday was sweltering, we all had our fingers crossed summer had arrived, but by the evening the thunder and lightening had shattered our hopes!
Had a lovely meal at the Raindeer last night for Grandad's birthday, he was on form and seemed to really enjoy it. We raised our glasses for you both (and Mike cos he was working up in Nottogham!)
I'm finishing in 10 mins so I'm gonna head off now and pack my desk up - I'm sure I can make that last 10 mins! Then I'm off home to check which cat is in the house today - yeah still being visited by random cats! Toby and Jess have started fighting them but yesterday they chickened out and hid behind the sofa!!!
Take care, look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi, a quick peep at blogs and messages in between working!!And it is sunny, sunny, sunny - well this morning anyway, just in case we get used to it big clouds are supposed to be looming for this afternoon. Kerry and Ian got your car sorted yesterday Gem so its ready to go on Auto Trader - anyone want a Y registered Clio, very good condition!! Its grandad's birthday today so we are going out for a meal tonight. He used his new 'wheels' yesterday and nan took charge of pushing around the hospital - I think she enjoyed the power!
Hope Ayres rock was good and look forward to hearing from you once in Cairnes.
