Sorry i've not been able to write many msgs- i have still been trying the emails but they keep coming back to me- must be cos your in Australia...(yes i am making a boomerang refenece if you were unsure!)

Had a few weekends away in Cambridge and Bournemouth the last couple of weeks so it's been nice to get away. I think we may even go abroad in October so very excited- hoping we don't miss the homecoming though...!

it was really gud to talk to you today, it has been ages,hopefully wont be left so long next time. we have been to the eagle for a right big plateful of cavery, was nice but am well full up. then just came back to dads for some homemade tiramusu, lovely!!! thankyou both for my card and money.

Just had chance to catch up on all your wonderful photos! You both look fantastic and so does the scenery, you must both be having such an adventure. It's been great talking to you too. Can't believe we will be with you in a week's time and from what Sheena and Douglas say about the weather in Melbourne you'll probably both need some jumpers ready! Frantically trying to catch up on work so that we can get away and frantically trying to tidy the house for Sara and Gillet - thats much harder to do than catch up on work! Photos look fab as usual! Can't belive its winter time over there, yet it still beats our summer over here!

Finish my placement tomorrow which will be odd after 5 months, then got a week off before I go back to social services.

Ian and I are off to the Belfry Hotel Sunday for a day of pampering, a three course meal, accommodation and then the good old english breakfast can't wait. Only staying one night but got two days to use the leisure facilities and relax.

Had my hair done by Nat yesterday, love what she's done and was a lovely opportunity to catch up.

It's been great catching up with what you're up to and seeing your photos. Sorry I've missed you when you've been trying to call. We've been gadding about as usual. First it was Nige's party for me and Claire's Hen do for Geri. Then last weekend we had a weekend in Sheffield with Rob/Jaq Rich/Sue and Ade. We drove up Friday (traffic awful) and went to the comedy club on Friday night, and then played golf on a lovely sunny day whilst the girls went shopping at Meadowhall. After a relaxing hour in the hotel spa and a few drinks (free) in the club lounge, we went out on the town in Sheffield with a plan for a few beers and an Indian later. Ended up at Mrs Gupta's curry house, which was an experience for all the wrong reasons. I'll keep that story for when I see you. This week we have mainly been walking - tonight in Bevere (620 calories on Geri's new exercise counter) and I fell off a stile. At least I could limp home; anyone else would have needed mountain rescue!! We'll be at home on Sunday, so hopefully we'll have a quick word when you phone Nat up. I loved the Transformers movie, it did indeed float my boat!

Me again, just a quick message to say we saw the midwife this morning and we got to hear the babies heartbeat - it was amazing!!

Next scan is 14th Sept, so I'll send you a copy of the picture.

Popped in to see Kirsty and Steve last night and droppd her a foot size paddling pool off! Her bump is massive and I got to feel the baby move and even Ian saw it - it was so strange to see!!! But lovely and very exciting.

Well its monday again and that means back to work! We had a gorgeous sunny weekend, yesterday was really hot, so hot infact that I had to have the paddling pool out - what fun it is to revert to being a kid!

Still got my voucher to use at the Brine Baths, so gonna ring tonight to see if I can a book a massage before I get a bump, as I'm guessing that might be a bit uncomfortable. I'll be 4 months next week but not got a bump yet, just generally put weight on!

Ian's chuffed to bits cos your tomato plant has got some fab tomatos growing, however they have yet to turn red!

Ian's brother Mark has been in Japan now for nearly 2 weeks and I think he's finding it quite a culture shock and its taking a while to adjust.

Mum and Mike have been talking lots about coming out to see you guys, they seem really excited about the camper van. Can't believe how soon it'll be.

It was great to speak to you at the weekend, look forward to the next catch up.

just been for a walk round barbourne park in the hot sun for an ice lol. it must be hot cos the waters in the pool.

went to Nige's birthday b b q last night.you would have liked it there was a drum kit out and 50's style juke box. Jo was drunk and cartwheeling - saved Nat from doing it!!!!

Nat's much better than she was. No 40hr yet!

Bob's in Scotland, dad said the weather is crap there so his lovely tan will be fading. think he's going to watch celtic play today.

just booked eagle for nat's b day. wishing you two were coming. you'll have to cook some garlic spods and pretend!

Nat says she'll be at dad's for you to try and phone about 12 on the sun 19th aug for chat if that's ok. let us know.
