Hi all,

Quick update while we wait for the rain to stop...in Thailand is has a quick half hour shower most days, this one decided to start while we were on the beach - wes had factor 50 on after his last sunbathing/sunburning episode...

Our hotel in Patong is really nice, we've decided to have at least 4 nights here, its quite a tourity town so you don't get the hasssle you do elsewhere. We ventured out for a few beers last night and what an eye opener that was, some of the highlights:

Ladyboys in drag, A man waving an iguana in Wes face, Red light district, the nail game (we'l explain more when we get back - this is a new party game) Western middle aged men with teenage thai BOYS.... you get the picture. It was really good and we had a good night, Wes used his birthday money from Kerry and Ian and a english tenner he found astray in his bag - this just about funded things.

Today we are thinking about going for a thai foot massage - all this walking in flip flops is taking its toll..... we're also looking at doing a trip tomorrow morning to an island to do snorkelling!
