Hello everyone,

Guess what - we've managed to upload photos but more importantly as you'll notice Wes has hair!! When you click on the photo album, make sure you view them as a slide show to get the full captions...we hope you like them, its nice for everyone to see what we're seeing!

We're now in Perth but first to update is what we got up to on the final day in Singapore. In the morning we headed down to China Town and both got henna tattoo's done on our feet -(dont worry mum there temporary) - we'l upload this photo later... we then went on a river boat cruise and jumped off to grab an authentic singapore sling - stong but refreshing.

In the afternoon we walked round the botanical gardens, this was beautiful, there was a big lake with loads of fish and terrapins too. After that we headed to a seven storey shopping mall (you would not belive the shopping centres we've seen, there must be at least 20 all the size of merry hill or bigger...shame we've no money to spend )

In the shopping centre is a big cinema where we watched Transformers ( Paul what did you think of it? We loved it!)

After the cinema we headed to the Night Safari, this a high class safari park but at night, you travel round in small open trams and see all sorts of animals, such as Lions, Elephants, Hyena's, Rhino's and Hippo's. This was real good.

Exhausted after all this, we headed back to Little India where we managed to get a double room cheat motel (this was a complete s***hole with cockroaches - but thats a different story) and we had probably the most authentic Indian outside of India, its nothing like what they serve in the UK. Apparently it wasn't spicey! It was really tasty and cheap! One thing we noticed, is that locals only use their right hand to eat, no cutlery...wes says this is because they use their left hand for wiping there behind- do I believe him!?!

The next morning we flew to Perth and checked into a small family run hostel which is nice but we're moving tomorrow to an even better one close to the city - we'll eventually get to watch neighbours!!! Things we have planned for Perth are:

We've booked a trip to the Pinnacles which includes 4 wheel drive jeeps, sandboarding and a few other things. We're also going to Australia's largest aquarium tomorrow morning and we're toying with the idea of white water rafting.

this bit is for Liam - in response to your questions.... Singapore is great! - i can see why Coke likes it so much.... it is ultra modern - really clean - very little crime and has some great shopping! loads of arcades and computer shops! and as you'll read, the Zoo and Safari was very good too!... So you've been fishing too... thats good... though if i can offer a suggestion for the herriots, try using a float and fishing in the margin, a swimfeeder is a little 'un-sensative' there - there's no current so you can get away with keeping things as light as possible. We haven't really partied since Thailand... but i'm sure over the next few days we'll have a few 'tinnies'!
