Hi, Have just arrived in Bangkok after another long journey. So am pretty tired now. Bangkok is busy, dirty and theres alot of funny smells. Its great! Am looking forward to the morning when I can have a good look around, am away to bed now, so will write again in the next few days.

Wow! I think Im just about Temple'd out now ! I made the mistake of taking a Tuk tuk who took me virtually every where I didnt ask to go and then deposited me at a tailors and jewellers. Its not easy getting out of those places with out making a purchase. After that I decided to explore on foot. First stop Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Then on to the Grand Palace. After that I went to Wat Pho to see the huge reclining Buddha, its quite a sight. Then onto the other side of the river to see Wat Arun. These Temples are amazing, I have some pretty good pictures which I will upload as soon as I get the chance. I also went to see the Standing Buddha and the Marble Temple, but there is quite alot of building work going on there at the moment so not really very much to see. Apparently it will be complete by next year. After getting lost several times I made it back to the Khao San Road absolutely shattered. Managed several beers and then it was an early night for me!

Today Im heading to Kanchanaburi, which sounds pretty good. Looking forward to the Tiger Temple!
