Arrived at Malua Bay to look after Ned, a Cavalier King Charles cross. Ned is a rescue dog and does not like being on his own for too long.

Home owners said that Ned is to be put in the garage, where he sleeps, if going out for more than four hours. We went out a number of times for less than four hours and Ned was no problem. However, the day we were due to leave, we packed our bags and stowed them in the caravan. We then headed directly across the road, to the Bowling Club for chinese lunch. We were gone for less than an hour, walking down the driveway we could hear a strange noise. When we looked up Ned was attacking the wooden slatted blinds in the front bay windows. He had chewed all three blinds as far up as he could reach, making quite a mess. Apparently Ned was abandoned previously and seeing us pack our bags he thought he was being abandoned again.
