News just in....I'm coming home. No not permenantly just for some university interviews at UCL, Brighton and Sussex and Manchester. I found out on Sunday and I leave this saturday. I come back here on the 2nd so I'm at home for 2 weeks. Its getting nice and hot here now and we had a few tropical style storms, with sudden torrential downpours and hail and high winds which is quite cool as long as your not caught outside in it. I bought a watch, another swatch one, I remain faithful to them and also a sim card so at last i can ring people. I'm on optus now, which I don't like so much but it doesnt really matter. I have been running around trying to buy christmas presents for people since i'm coming home. On saturday I had a regatta at SIRC (sydney international regatta centre) its where they held the olympics. It was really hot, as hot as Uluru and I was outside all day, running arround after the girls. It was abit scary and like I had been thrown in at the deep end, since I was incharge of 3 crews and they were litterally all mine, I didn't really know what I was doing, but they all got on the water and to the start in time which was good. I saw the biggest spider ever, it was on the trailor as we were loading the boats, it looked just like a tarantula but it was actually a huntsman. It had big brown furry legs and one of the girls got a stick to remove it and it actually climbed onto it and wrapped its body around it. ugh. I also had a spider on my ceiling which we had fun removing, I wasnt going to leave it there because it was big and black so I spent a while throwing shoes at it and then Rosie ended up scraping it down with a pillow.
