Well!! Here It is at long last "The much awaited Travel Blog"....I am still trying to get the hang of this so please be patient as, exciting it may be,it may still take me a while.

Have been in Sth. Korea since last Sunday the 29th and though the weather has been hot & wet it still has not stopped SongHi & I from getting around.It's been great having Song with me as it's helped with the language barrier with relatives & friends of which there have been quite a few so far....Celebrated her mum's birthday yesterday.... the traditional Korean family get together with plenty of home made Korean food,"Kimtchee" with breakfast,lunch & dinner...Yum!!....

"Jeonju"is an old farming village with plenty of cultural history & some of the best restaurants in Korea,I've been told."Hanok Village" is a must on your to see list and if you are feeling spiritual,a walk up to the stone temple at Maisan Mountain is worth the 30min.drive with a stop at the Ginseng market on the way.....this area grows & harvests the highest amount of Ginseng in all of Korea.

Koreans love their food!!!!...the variety of dishes are endless with rice being the staple diet.A Korean BBQ is definitely a try and so is a dish called "Bi Bim Bap",washed down with "Soju", a local rice wine likened to Saki......Maybe,I should do this as a travel guide????..haha!!
