So today I walked around the outside of the lake. It was actually really far but it was nice and really beautiful. I wish I had some rollerblades or jogging shoes it would have been perfect. I met some students doing a survey too which was cool. It was actually really interesting Also how the different areas around the lake were really diverse.
After that I headed back to the hostel to extend my booking and get changed etc. But on the way I walked to part of the city south east of the lake. There were lots of markets there but I also found this pub street. Most of the places looked something like this picture tho. Then I headed back to the hostel to have some food etc before going out.
At the hostel I met some guy called sam and we talked for a bit. Then I decided to go with him to meet some girls he was planning to see. First we went to see the electronic markets and night markets but they were not so great. Even tho so much of that stuff is made in china, I think japan is much better and cheaper for buying it. I think there is some taxes here on it tho.
After the markets we headed to the pub to meet the girls early. It was cool tho because we met some more people to talk to. It turned out one of them was the owner of the pub. He was a little strange tho. We met the girls and talked to them for a while. There was a girl from Armenia. She was really interesting and me and her talked pretty much non stop.
Sam was keen to go to another place so finally we went to another bar called "the reggae bar". That pretty much exactally wat it was. It was nice tho. After a while we decided to go to this club we had heard about from everyone. It was called coco. It was not bad but really I don't know why it is soo popular. We meet some people there but really there was not so many chances to talk to anyone because the music was soo loud and the place was about the size of a tennis court.
We left there about 4am I think and got a taxi back to Sams hostel. I had to walk home from there. It was fine tho, I didn't have to pay for the taxi. Sams hostel was not far from the pub street I had seen before. I went to cheack it out and there was still some places open so I walked in to look but there were a bit dogey looking so I just left. One of the places had a really low door way so you had to bend right down to get in. Wen I walked out smacked my head. It really hurt even today it is still sore!
So from there I headed home don't think I got home til after 5.....
