I did manage to get away for a week over easter to do a tour of Turkey with Jansen and Megs, which was a great experience and a lot different to what I expected. The people there are really friendly (unlike the Turks that I played soccer against in Melb) and the place has so much history being around 5000 yrs old with places like Troy and Ephesus.

The highlights of the trip were probably visting ANZAC cove in Gallipoli as well as going hot air ballooning in the Cappadocia region (apparently 2nd best place in world to go ballooning), which happened to be on my birthday for those of you who forgot :) It was also Jansen's birthday the day before so we had a couple of busy days.

But we managed to relax and spend a day in natural thermal spa's at our hotel as well as get an authentic turkish bath from two 100kg hairy Turkish men... different but still good.

All in all it was a great trip and would definately recommend it :-)
