Day24 and 25: Well yesterday was a non-starter after two days of walking and swimming in the beautiful Fern Pool of Karijini National Park. Day 22 and 23: Oh we were so exhausted yesterday following our tour. Gone for 11 hours and many torturous steps later we were back to Gina's comfy confines. Luckily we had organised some salmon for dinner so it was a glass of wine and grilled salmon, perfect after a thoroughly lovely day. Day 21: Eight AM and we were up and out of Newman. Not such a long drive today (278 kms) , but we were awake, the day was beautiful and we were packed and off. The landscape changed dramatically for the better with lovely hills made by Mother Nature and even mountains all covered with soft green clusters of grasses. Would love to know the name of them but ehhhh not a worry. I have been expecting wildflowers but they are at the end of their season apparently ...

Day 20: What a delightfully quiet evening although we do hear a gentle hum of traffic from the mines but it is constant so no problem at all. We have divested the bed of our quilt, being very brave as we have been up to 2 quilts and a blanket up to a week ago. Day 19: Dust and sweat to start the day and now also to end it but in different ways. Cause we had so far to drive today we wanted to leave early as in 8 am.
