Sunday 14th May and also Mother's Day. It is a week since I last wrote and so much has happened that I have to really think backwards to catch up with myself. Tuesday 7th May spent the day checking out the surrounds of Iluka and all the surrounding beaches and headlands. Arrival at Lennox Heads on Wednesday after a stop at a lovely café in Alstonville where we enjoyed again a piece of fig and date cake with a taster of caramel and macadamia tartlet, really nice coffee also. The day was rather grey but we set up with a magnificent view of the lake and headed off into the shops for some lunch.
