Day 3 - O.K. I did 4 states today. Iowa, Illinois, Indiana & Michigan. And I finished off the last 100 miles of that state from some unholy place in the universe where nothing makes sense - Nebraska.

It's really late right now & I'm in some middle of nowhere town - not po-dunk.....worse then po-dunk. It's like someone took a dozen homes, two gas stations, a pizza parlor & a hotel & dropped them in the middle of a cow pasture & said - you are a town!!!

This place is called Watervliet & it's in Michigan. I'm just over 200 miles from the Canadian border - WOOOHOOO!!!!!! I have nothing to say right now because I'm exhausted. I crossed 4 states in one day. I battled about a million miles of construction & lane closures today - especially through Illinois & Indiana!!! WTF???

So, I have nothing to say right now except that I'm staying at the Ramada which also has something attached to the hotel called "Surfari Joe's"....yes you read that right....not SAFARI but SURFARI....it's a freakin indoor waterpark INSIDE the hotel in this cow pasture of a town. Believe it or not there are almost 2000 people that live here!!!! WHERE ARE THEY???? And who's bright idea was it to put a waterpark in a town by the side of a freeway in the middle of Michigan a million miles from civilization?????

O.K. I'm ranting again....time for bed. Tomorrow I start the horrific journey to the border where I get to sit & wait for several hours for some minimum wage - gun toting - badge wielding - over inflated egomaniacal - hell bent on world domination - guy to give me a hard time about leaving the US to go back to Canada. Did I mention how much I love US customs & immigration people??? ;) See you all tomorrow.

P.S. nothing exciting happened today except that I didn't get to eat anything of substance today & drank the equivalent of my weight in water, juice, coffee, tea, & red bull. So as you can imagine there were A LOT of pee breaks....
