 I just read your blog regarding Bolivia.  It sounds like a wild city to me :)  It's Monday April 30th about 6:40am.  I'm leaving Ventura today and heading back to Reno.  It's been a good 10 days off, but now I must return to work...I dred the thought of work.  It's been good just chillin here and hanging out with my brother and sisters, neice, and nephews.  I miss them very much.  I only had one beer during my entire trip (the first Friday after I arrived in Ventura).  I've beem feeling a bit junkie the entire time I've been here.  I think it's allergies.  Oh well, it's back to work for four days and then the following week I'm only in Reno for 3 days because on April 9th I'm off to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (actually I'll be in Spencer just a few miles to the east) for my Grandmother's 90th birthday.  Wow, if I live to be 90, I've still got 52 more years left on this planet...I'd better figure out what I want to do when I grow up :)  I'm still playing work by ear as far as staying or going.  I've heard since I've been away from Reno that my new boss has since moved in, and his desk if very close to mine :(  What did I do to deserve that :)  It's going to be an interesting summer at work.  We celebrated my sister Camille's 40th b day last night!  It was quite fun.  Just us family and a couple of significant others.  We had an early dinner by the beach followed up by icecream cake :)  Well, my sis and I are going on a walk down by the water, have a good one and chat soon,

Hey Viv, Sorry I wasn't on Yahoo Messenger this morning, but I was actually chatting with Simon and Nicola in Scotland and was on MSN Messenger.  As for your text messages, I didn't turn on my phone until 3pm today so I didn't get them until later.  I'm heading home (Ventura California) on Friday and will be there for about a week.  Since my UK trip was cancelled I thought I'd just spend a week at home so Bella and I are heading down on Friday to chill at the beach for a week.  I read a lot of your blog entries this weekend and loved them all.  I especially had fun reading the ones from last year.  I even read the one where you mentioned me and Pinky.  BTW, I'll have Pinky's leak fixed before you get here so we can take him out with us.  C'mon, it's not a world tour with out pics of Pinky :)  I've been meaning to ask you, have you heard any word from Scion?  I always wondered what happened to that guy.  He seemed to enjoy Pinky quite a bit :)  Well Viv, love everything Bolivia has to offer, and see you soon, Cheers!

 

 Hi Viv Sunday morning and no sleep-in we are going to a luncheon 60th birthday today and my cupboard was put in the office so Bruce woke early and has put my computer together again and I have started to put the house back in order, my brother was back from Malaysia Wednesday night and went to see Red Hot Chilli Peppers  but I don't know what he thought because the next morning he was off back to Adelaide we are catching up with the Mauls first weekend May we will do some more planning for Cape York. well look after yourself and enjoy as you always do Love all your pictures and tales It feels like we are there with you WISH WE WERE until next time  ooroo  XXXX

Hola amiga or should I say konichiwa. Been in Tokyo a couple of days now and liking what I`ve what I`ve seen so far. On the first day I spent a fortune in one department store on 2 t-shirts. It sure ain`t cheap but there`s some great stuff. Been gorging myself on sushi but haven`t made it to karaoke yet. Meeting the new group in a few hours so just enough time for more shopping and sushi. Hope you`re having fun in Chile. x

Viv, Viv, Viv, Viv, Viv, how's it????  I'm just sitting here at lame old work dreaming of my next trip.  I watched Sionis Wedding last night.  If you're not familiar with the movie it's about a group of Samoans living in Auckland.  I saw it in Lake Taupo last year, and laughed my ass off.  It really made me miss NZ.  I bought the DVD so we can watch it when you're here in Reno.   I might be heading to San Jose California this morning to watch my nephew play in his ice hockey match.  He's playing in the state championships for his age group.  The only bummer is that it's a 4.5 hour drive and the price of gas sucks right now (up to $3.55 a gallon).  It was good chatting and camming with you last weekend.  I hope you were able to meet up with John last week.  Well, I should get back to work.  Have an awesome time and we'll chat soon.  I should be on yahoo messenger Sunday morning between 8am and 9am Pacific Standard Time which is 11am or 12pm Chile time.  I'll look for you then.  Aloha Nui Loa,

Buenos Diaz Seniorita Viv, como estas  Well, I'm just sitting here watching the tele, thinking about you out there in the world, and wishing I was out there too.  Life here is a bit junkie right now.  Work absolutely blows which makes me really wish I was in South America too.  If I had it my way right now I would never come back, well at least to work.  I can't wait to see you in June and hear all your fantastic stories.  I think the UK trip is out, bummer for me.  Oh well, maybe next year.  Well, the weather here in Reno Nevada USA is starting to heat up.  I think it's going to be a long dry hot summer.  It should be nice and warm when you get here :)  Take care Viv, and chat again soon,  Cheers, Lanceman

 Had a weekend at home but Bruce worked, he also put in to work at the caravan and camping show so I traped around and picked up lots of brochures and some for our trip. School holidays started today so I am having Kyle for a couple of days this week and 1 next week. Sounds great your holiday how long are you away? It all sounds so fantastic............Chris is right, we are so hopelessly busy trying to tie up lots of loose ends before I retire and gaining info re superannuation decisions and selling the office in Melbourne and finalising arrangements for both trips and ...and ...and.. anyway school is crazy  and I'm counting down the days - only 50 working days to go and then we can spread our wings again.  All our contacts in the U.K. will be around when we arrive so it's worked out beautifully!   Looking forward to spending a couple of nights with you in those local haunts...continue to enjoy all those exotic experiences and I'm anxious to hear all those stories that you just can't scribe!!!!!

 Hi Viv and all your travelling mates You make me so..o.o.o. jealous I wish I could be on the road again. We have decided to stay home for Easter and get this house back to some form of normality. We went to the high country and found 4 huts and one that had been burnt in the 2003 fires we cant get up to see how many have gone in this years fires yet but as soon as possible I know Bruce will be up and going. Haven't heard from Jen lately but she is probably putting in double time  so she doesn't leave anything when she leaves in July (RETIRES) We are off to a wedding this weekend down on the Peninsular (Mornington) and I thought I had better join a gym to get fit for Cape Yorke We sure love your travel logs and photos. just wish we were there.!!!!!
