We spent most of 2 days in this beautiful area...had a good hike to see the morning glory arch. It was disappointing that the National Parks were closed.

We enjoyed 2 nights with old friends, and got a good hike, and a walk through the lovely town.

We have traveled 2,000 miles so far, and spent 2 days on the Alaska Ferry! Our last night in Canada, we were in Wasa, at this cute motel near the lake, and with llamas next door...then the next night we were at Lolo Hot Springs at about 5,000 feet in Montana...the same hot springs used by the Native Americans and by Lewis and Clark...and our "lodge" had hot springs pools we enjoyed. Traveling at this time of year means that most places have very few tourists......

We stopped at a park on Flathead lake, north of Missoula, Montana, and Viv saw a small snake...not a good reminder that we were out of the "frozen north"! We've been in and out of the mountains, snow showers, and temperatures into the low 50s! Internet and Cell reception continues to be sporadic.
