We hit the road early again. Since we wanted to avoid rush hour traffic in Louisville", we stopped in a small town along 64 for a coffee and a wifi connection. We think we figured out how to post pictures. We are definitely not technology experts. Eric, where are you when we need you? If you check photos or albums on the blog site and open the album called Utah trip that should be where the photos go.
We had a nice morning taking some scenic byways through eastern Indiana including some stretches along the Ohio river. We even had lunch overlooking the river in a grove of walnut trees (a little fact for the forestry folk out there). We got to watch a huge huge tug pushing coal barges down river.
Before stopping for the night in Benton IL, we stopped at a winery. Who knew IL had wine? The wines were better than expected but mostly sweetish fruit wines. It turns out that most of the grapes for the wine were imported from elsewhere in the country.
Tomorrow we start headin more north.
