Day 42 Quebec to Montreal. We left a cold, rainy and cloudy Quebec heading for what the weather report predicted - a sunny, warm Montreal. Day 41 Quebec 2 Today was rather overcast and luckily we had decided to wear jeans and take our gortex jackets in case of rain. The rain did not eventuate but the icy wind picked up and the wind proofing of the jacket was greatly appreciated. We headed back into the area of Old Quebec. Day 40 Quebec Being Sunday we were hoping there would not be a lot of traffic in the downtown area. We also found a brochure about a walking tour through Quebec. We managed to get to the city and parked just in time to join the tour. The guide was very enthusiastic both about the city and its history. Day 39 - Ottawa to Quebec We did not have an early start today as we were only travelling approx. 4.5 hours. We were out the door and into the car by a little after 9am. Day 38 Ottawa (Parc Omega) We started the day by a walking back to Parliament Hill to take photos of the Parliament buildings that we did not take the night before due to the poor light in the afternoon. Then crossing the bridge over Rideau Canal to walk around the area known as Byward Markets.
