Ok so it's now the 4th of December and I am writing about the 17th of November. This day was already down in words but when I was trying to upload my blog to the Internet weeks ago this day decided to completely disappear :( I was truely gutted.

All is good though, I remember the afternoon and evening well, and I'm about 99.9% positive we spent the morning in the truck heading through Tanzania!

We arrived just after lunch at the campsite and got the chance to upgrade to a thatched stable which had lovely beds and electricity. Phoebe and I decided to just stick with the tent but a lot of people upgraded for $10.

The afternoon was quite chilled so managed to do a load of washing and had a good hours afternoon nap before tea :) The bar was really cute, it was a thatched wooden circle with funny shaped stools all around, everyone had a few drinks in the afternoon and prior to tea.

Then we were told to be at the restaurant at 7pm, as this was a catered campsite. We were welcomed by someone sitting at the door playing drums and inside was the cutest and the poshest restaurant I had seen in Africa. There was 2 big tables for us and we were served a 3 course meal. Main was roast beef and tatties though whoop!! Everyone was on good form and drinking, our table were all on ciders and the other table were on bottles of wine, so when we all got together at the bar it was a great laugh.

It was Andrews birthday today too so later on everyone that was left in the bar along with the bar men sang happy birthday down the phone hehe. We had a short phone call as I was in the middle of nowhere with no wifi.

We were warned when arriving to this campsite to watch out for the snakes, so I made sure I was on top of the picnic table when I was outside myself on the phone :) BUT you'll be impressed I actually managed to walk to the toilet alone in the dark.. Yes all by myself! I was a tad tipsy tonight but nothing like the girls that were on the wine!!! Celebrated Andrews birthday well though and had a fantastic night in the Farm Bar!

Hopefully that's not too bad of a blog, since it's 2 weeks after the day!!!! xxx
