Hello from Oz!Friday 2nd March - I arrived in Sydney from Christchurch and George's mum and stepdad picked me up from the airport. I stayed with Margaret & Geoff for a few days, lovely to have homecooked food and a base for a few days. I then came into the city for 5 nights. Wow...how special is the scenery in the South Island. Mountains, waterfalls, lakes, more waterfalls! Stunning!First night stop was a place called Marahau in the Abel Tasman Park. Went sailing on a catamaran around the Abel Tasman Bay and Islands, what a fun day...weather was lovely...I dived off the boat (good recovery on my lost bikini top...dont think anyone noticed ;o>?!!) then swam to a rock they call Split Apple Rock and being clumsy cut my hands on the r...

Aotearoa! The Land of the Long White Cloud... Kia Ora Everyone! Well what can I say...Its been none stop since I got to NZ...where shall I start....? North Island Having an absolute blast ...once I got over the "sh*t I'm on my own travelling" thing and sorted out what I was going to do from Auckland (City of the Sails)...that took a couple of days...things have turned out great...keep meeting some good folks along the way which has really helped...

Arrived in Sydney on the 18th December and were met at the airport by Geoff and Margaret, George's mum and stepdad.It made such a lovely change to have a base for a couple of weeks...to catch with with sleep, washing all the usual things you take for granted when living at home...fantastic! Phuket...pronounced Pooget!We got a connecting flight from Siem Reap to Bangkok to Phuket no delays. Met up with Brabs around 6 at a local bar, which was fun.The next day Brabs had us in the ocean off the beach doing our diving review...I was okay as had only just passed in August so it was all fresh, good for George to do as a reminder...got a little sunburnt...ouch!The following day we went out with Sophia our dive instructor and Grim dive master to Koh Doc Mai...
