Hello from Oz!

Friday 2nd March - I arrived in Sydney from Christchurch and George's mum and stepdad picked me up from the airport. I stayed with Margaret & Geoff for a few days, lovely to have homecooked food and a base for a few days. I then came into the city for 5 nights. Went to the Blue Mountains and occupied myself with all the usual touristy bits that I didn't get to do when I was here at New Year. Met up with G&M on the Friday and caught the ferry over to Manly for a few hours, strolled around the shops and beach and had lunch before getting the ferry back and saying my goodbyes to G&M.

Tuesday 13th - Coach to Canberra and staying a couple of nights. 

Wednesday 14th - First of all "Happy Big Birthday Mum" !! Sorry I couldn't be there to celebrate with you but you know I was in spirit.   Got a bus around the city and visited Parliamont House, the War Memorial Museam and the History Museam. Only had one full day in Canberra but felt it was enough to see what I wanted to see.
