Hello! I'm in South Africa now, right next to Kruger park. I started at the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre yesterday, which mainly breeds cheetah for release back to the wild. As soon as we got there one of the painted dogs needed darting for surgery on a wound. We got to help transport it, and then I got to hold it during surgery! It was a pretty fantastic start! Hi Phil and Wendy, We're in Christchurch at the moment, going horseriding tomorrow and on a jet boat. We were in Milford Sound a few days ago kayaking and there were some fur seals swimming around! Hello! Have been through Kyoto and saw some geisha, then stopped of at Mt Fuji in a swanky hotel with an awesome view of the mountain across lake ashi. Have just arrived in Tokyo and am a little overwhelmed by the amount of people after the tranquility of the mountains.
