Same old, same old

We caught the shuttle bus from Port Douglas back to Gilligans hostel in Cairns this morning, and went to the lagoon to sunbathe as it was too early to check in when we arrived. By 2.30pm we were bored of sunbathing and went back to move into the room and collect our backpacks from storage. We had a wander around Cairns and went to the shopping centre to collect a few mundane things, but couldn't really find much to entertain us with! I think we're ready now to experience another country, and to challenge ourselves with a new culture - Australia has been amazing, but I feel like we've really done the East Coast and need to move on. In the evening we had $10 pasta, which was really good, and sat and chatted for a while.
