We have now made our way across to an island off the west coast of Malaysia called Penang. We are staying in a town called Georgetown. Yesterday we decided to be right tourists and go on a day tour around all the sights. We saw a very large chinese temple up in the hills, a thai temple, a burmese temple, botanical gardens, a coffee shop (they gave us lots of lovely free samples), a pet store...very random i know...but they had gorgeous puppies that we coooed over...

We are now up in the Cameron Highlands - when we arrived up here it was raining (the heaviest rain i think ive ever seen!!) - we got soaked trying to our room! Though the temperature is sooo pleasant up here (tho it does get chilly at night but we are enjoying that - get to sleep without sweating!) We were recommened a hostel by other travellers - its a great place - but our room is in a army bunker! I have not been well the past few days but am feeling much bett...

After what seemed like forever travelling and waiting around in Airports (5hour drive from Agra to Delhi, then 9hours waiting around the airport...4hour flight from Delhi to Bangkok, 4 hours wait in Bangkok airport, 2 hour flight from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur!) we arrived at our nice cheap hostel (we made a friend along the way - a girl who is travelling on her own, so we have grouped up for now). The hostel is great - loads of other people - no longer being ruled...

So today we saw the Taj Mahal! And it was as amazing as you'd think it would be! At first i really felt like it had been super imposed onto a back drop i just couldnt believe it looked so gorgeous and perfect! We met Yogi (our driver) this morning and headed off in the car but after about an hour driving around he dropped us off at a small temple and told us the day was ours on our own - yay! We decided to use it to our advantage and did lots of shopping!!
