We have spent the last two days in Taupo. It has been lovely- we have got to know a great group of people!

Yesterday Lucy did her skydive! There wasn't room for me in the car for me to come and watch but it sounds like she had an amazing time!

Yesterday we went for some more walks and explored the town, we have discovered 'Pack and Save' which like a New Zealand version of Lidl!

We decided to go out for a few drinks together which turned into many at te backpackers bar but it was so much fun!

Today we spent the morning in bed; it was the first time in a very long time we have had a sleep in. This afternoon we walked down the a hot mineral pool in the sunshine and paddled in there. It was so so hot; probably hotter than a hot tub!

We also went out for a meal together at the local Italian called ponililos; it was very good food and a nice way of chatting to everyone as getting to know more people!

I've had a lovely few days in Taupo and cannot wait for more!
