Had lunch downstairs again before gettin a train to Monaco via Eze. Arived in Eze around 2:15 but had to wait for bus to take us up to the village itself. The village itself is very enchangtin and is basically built on the top of a hill. There is a posh hotel with just as posh cars outside it. Had a pretty early start today.. after a McD breaky, we caught the train to Cannes and arrived around 11:30. We walked down to Palais des Festivals et des Congres where the film festival is held. We all took a photo on the red carpet before catching a sightseeing mini-train around the west side of Cannes (up to a hill) and the east side La Croisette. Had a late start today as we felt like sleeping in and also there was no water from 9-11am as they were fixing something in the area. Had brunch at the restaurant downstairs- very good food and good value also, too bad I cant remember the name. After that tried to do the laundry but was too busy so we went shopping instead down Rue de Mecedin (Sephora, Virgin Megastore etc). After that we stopped at a lovely little pastry/chocolate shop and had some nice drink...

Woke up this morning and ran some errands like changing TCs before going to the station around 12 to catch the train to Nice. Arrived in Nice around 4pm and checked into our Hotel du Centre and then went to buy some chinese food (cravings) and supermarket shopping for water, fruits etc. After that, we went out down towards Promenade des Anglais through Rue de Mecedin. After a big breakfas, we went to via Garibaldi, where the rich Genovaians used to live. There was a museum in one of the houses in Strada Nuova and although we didnt have a ticket, one of the volunteer helpers let us go into the museum exhibit for free. We saw Paganini's violin, the Cannone as well as a cool sculpture of Maddalena where she is crying.
