Left this morning after saying goodbye to everyone at the hotel. Jess was not feeling well (possibly fever?). Got to Termini and bought some food. Jess ended up getting shortchanged 45 Euros and luckily Dario had missed his train so was still in the station. He managed to help Jess get the 45 back but she left her nameand number with the Autogrill in case they ended up being short at the end of the day. (which the didnt)

During the train ride the zip on my bag broke,what a pain! Now I have to buy a new bag, at least that one served me well over the last 2 months.

Arrived in Santa Margherita and caught a Meredes taxi to the hotel. Not our choice, we wanted to go for the Ford but got told to go to the Merc. Turns out its the same price anyway. By this time Jess was running a fever so she stayed at the hotel while me and Cheryll went out looking around. The people in the hotel are so nice, but there are quite alot of rules like no washing clothes in bathroom...?! We decided to stay one more night here so have to call Genova and Nice to change our bookings.

Me and Cheryll went out for dinner at Trattoria Da Pezzi, then we bought some takeaway for Jess and took back to the hotel before going for a quick walk around town. Santa M is not a big place but is so vibrant in its own way. We walked down to the waterfront where we sat for a bit before walking back to the hotel via shopping street. Things are nice here, but also expensive because most of its like high end fashion brands. Also ate an affogato along the waterfront and Cheryll tried a Tartufo and loved it.
