Spent my last day in Europe in a really morbid but pretty interesting way. First stop was Belleviere Markets which has a heaving middle eastern influence. Kept hearing 'Yalla' (Arabic for 'hurry up'), which I learnt in Dubai and that gave me some flashbacks. They have some huge as fruit and veg as well as mean looking fish. Clothes were pretty cheap, for example shoes for 3 euros, can't confirm the quality of the goods though.. sort of reminds me of night market...

Started the day later today and met up with Bobby, an old school mate from St Thomas's. Haven't seen him in about 17 years... thank facebook for the way it connects people back up. He's been in the French Alps snowboarding and came to Paris for a few weeks. Walked around Notre Dame and got up closer to get some good pictures. Tried to find a place to change my Travellers Cheques but the banks are so wierd here in Paris, they don't change money?! All the big bank...

Went on the other free walking tour today of the city. It was 4 hours of walking but saw most of the sights. Arrived in Paris at Gare du Nord after sleeping most of the way from UK to France. Completely missed coming out of the tunnel into France but oh well.
