Spent the day on the bus today with a bonus stop in Terezin, a concentration camp in Czech Republic. It was based in a fortress that was built in the late 19th century (so not specifically built by the Nazis). The whole thing was just sad and its unbelievable the hundreds of people cramped into a small cell, some having to sleep standing and 2 toilets to share between 300 people.
Just arrived in Prague and I am the only person in my room. Special girls area too so has nice girly stuff in the rooms, the place has a wierd atmosphere though.
Tonight most of us are going to go out with the Busabout guide that brought us into Prague to a Czech restaurant that has apparently really good Czech food... eg. dumplings (not the asian type)
Tomorrow will be a walking tour day of the city. Its going to be a bit harder getting around with the language here abit different. At least with French, German etc there were still some similarities!
PS: Forgot to mention, I met an Italian girl in London and she told me what La Porchetta means... "The Bacon"... So everytime we go to La Porchetta for dinner, we are going to The Bacon. What a name for a restaurant.
