DAY 94 - 96: 16th October - 18th October: Lima, Peru

Before leaving Parracas I took a boat across to the Ballatas Island, which were full of birds and penguins and sea lions. It was amazing it felt so good to be back on the water. It has made me really excited about getting to Mexico.

We left Parcarras to Lima around 10am. Lima is the capital and largest city of Peru. It is located in the valleys of the Chillón, Rímac and Lurín rivers, in the central part of the country, on a desert coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Lima was a lot more developed than I thought, it was great to be somewhere normal. That evening we went out for our last meal together as a lot of people were leaving the next day. I spent my last day wondering around taking all the views in had a walk a long the beach before heading to my new hostel for the evening to get some sleep before my 4am start.
