25th January Today we headed to Greymouth (which is a mouth of a river which is normally grey). But we must have got lucky, as it was sunny. We stopped off at Pancake rocks before I went on a beer tasting thing with Mark and Carly which was good and we had half an hour to drink as much beer as possible, when I got back Nat and I cooked some dinner and I went to the bar to have a few drinks and play some darts before heading to bed.

23rd- 24th January 2012 We woke up at silly o'clock to get the ferry from Wellington to Picton, where we would get back onto the stray bus. Not sure how long the ferry was as I slept for most of it, although I did get a few pictures of the journey. 19th January 2012 Today we left at 8am to head to Tongariro National Park, where we were going to complete the Tongariro crossing (this is one of the top ten day hikes in the world). 18th January 2012 It was another 9am start for me and this time I was headin to Whakahoro, Blue duck lodge. This was a place completely off the beaten track. It was farm land divided by the Whakahoro river. The farm is one of the most green friendly place ever, everything is to do with the environment.
