20th - 22nd January 2012
I woke up with some stiff muscles and headed back on the bus on the way to Wellington (capital city of NZ and home of the all blacks). Wellington is stuffed between mountains and a harbor. The weather was finally nice and we went up to a viewpoint to look over the city. It was big Friday night out and the last night all 6 girls were together as rev was heading to the south island the next day, Ruth was heading up back to Auckland, Rhian was staying in Wellington for longer. We got some dinner at Nandos…. hmmmmmm……and then it was a big night out we started playing ring of fire in the Canadian boys room (Dave, Dylan and Mark) before heading down to the hostel bar and then to element. All I can say from that night was it was messy and lots of disabled toilets were used. The nest day we actually woke up quiet early, I volunteered myself to do the washing whilst the other girls went on a run….haahaa…then we all headed to the Te papa museum of Wellington. It was a fun museum - I got into a whales heart and saw a giant squid and there were lots of stuff about earthquakes etc. Then we headed to Cuba Street for a bit of shopping and finally we got an Indian takeaway to finish the day off. The next morning Carly, Nat and I were heading on the ferry to south island.
