Sydney - 8th February - 12th February

So I arrived in Sydney and hopped on the train into the center to find my hostel. I checked into my room and nobody was there so decided to head out and see where I would end up.

I walked to Darling Harbor through china town, which was an experience. Darling harbor was beautiful; I watched the sunset and headed back to the hostel, where I met a French girl. We decided to go for a walk to the opera house to see it at night. It was amazing. Finally I walked back to the hostel to get some sleep.

The next morning I woke up quiet early not sure why, I had to organize my trip up the east coast and after I sorted out my bus pass I headed to Sydney aquarium to see the platypus. But in the aquarium there was an ill shark, he had sunk backwards to the bottom of the tank, so they shut the shark enclosure. I then headed to the wildlife center and saw my first kola bear, they were very cute - cant wait to hold one in Brisbane. That evening I headed out for a drink with a girl in my dorm who was from PUCON, Chile (one of my favorite places).

The next morning I met up with Carly, we went to the doctors (boring!!) Then we went for a walk through the botanical gardens before going on a tour through the government buildings. That evening I went out with Heli (a girl I met in NZ, don't think I have mentioned her yet) and Valeria (Girl from Chile) to a crappy $3 place - but what do you expect when you pay $3 for a drink.

The next morning I tried to sleep in but it didn't go very well, ended up getting up at 7:30. It was a nice day so Heli and I headed to Bondi Beach for the morning and then headed on a 6km coastal trek from Bondi to Cooglee, which was lovely, and we just missed the rain. That evening we went out to celebrate Carly's fake 30th birthday take two!! Enough said on that evening.

I woke up at 9 took a shower and checked out after only having 1.5 hours sleep. I then went up the sky tower, but forgot my camera!!! L I then sat in Darling quarter all day in the sun before heading back the hostel to use internet. I then met up with Carly to say bye and headed on the bus to Bryon Bay. Whoop Whoop!!

That's all for Sydney!! New coming home date: 19th May for 3 weeks!!!
