I left Valparaiso at 10am to head for La Serena it was a long us journey around 8 hours. I arrived in the early afternoon; the hostel I stayed at was the only one you could book through hostel bookers so there were lots of people there. I met a girl from Holland and another guy, we all went to visit the Pisco Valley and visit the production site of pisco, which was very good, although it did take the whole day. On the way back we stopped off at another town called …………… where we got some dinner and headed back to La Serena. On the second day, I went down to the beach for half of the day before heading to the bus station for an overnight bus to San Pedro de Atacama. I am really excited about heading to San Pedro - so I hope it will be good.
