We had a lovely couple of days In Portland. It is nice to have a break from the car but this is a road trip so we packed up and headed off. When we arrived at the motel in Aberdeen it was about 5pm. Our room had a door joining it to the next room. We could hear the tele but it was early and live and let live eh. So picked up a new hire car and left Seattle, home of fish and hobos. A hop on the ferry and we were off across to Bainbridge Island.
