Wont be doing this every day but it's half past four in the morning here, and we have jet lag and the hotel has WiFi!!!!

Arrived about half seven Canada time last night and hunkering down in an airport hotel for a kip before feeling fully refreshed, (not!!!) we pick up the car today.

Intend to spend today looking round Calgary before heading off to Banff and Rockies proper tommorrow. Caught glimpses of the mountain out the aircraft window as we came in, really cant wait, wont wait now!

It was an emotional day yesterday, i think we were both a bit taken aback by how it felt leaving, hugely overwhelming, years in the wishing and planning and we are here, on our way....

Oh and there is no kettle in the room, only coffe machine, from Jill's point of view - whats all that about...!!!!!

Yummy a coffee percolator. No silly single sachets just a big pot of strong black coffee. Trust me at 4.30am I need it.
