Gonna go try find the markets here today and try sniff out the Beer Lao factory. Having a great time in Laos, people are so friendly, food is good and cheap, so is the beer more importantly!! Hired a minibus between 6 of us to get to Phonsavan were we went to see the plain of jars, they are strange things that look like jars made from stone, know one knows where there from or how they got there, apparently theyve been there for over 2000 years, its also a site that was bombed and has lots of unexploded bombs still around!! had to tread carefu...

Sa ba dee!! (hello in Laos) In luang prabang got here yesterday after spending 2 whole days on a slow boat down the mekong river!! Stopped of to sleep at a small place called pak beng, travelling with our friends who we met on the trek in chiang mai so we all went out for a nice indian. Both really looking forward to seeing more of laos, speak again soon . xx
