hey all, we are currently in Vientiane, waiting for our visas for Vietnam. Just spent 6 nights in Vang Vieng really liked it loads to do, outdoor activities. Gonna go try find the markets here today and try sniff out the Beer Lao factory. Planning to see the Buddha Park tomorrow, it is sweltering hot here, unbearable, think we will have to go have a siesta. Hopefully Vietnam will be a little cooler, tossing up the choice of a 24 hour coach trip or 1 hour flight to cross the border, have to check the bank see which option suits!!!
