If you can angle across MN to pass through New Ulm, the beer capital of MN, you will reach a midwest mecca... Hope you see this is time.

Hey Tom - I've been reading these blogs for a year now, and jealous can't begin to describe. Thought I'd write and share a funny thought - I was plowing up South Mountain to the Towers (Silent Sunday), and toward the top I just felt terrible...hot, Phoenix heat felt unrelenting. Anyhow, I thought of your ride, and your bike packed full of gear, and it gave me the extra motivation I needed to lazily make my way to the top...Thanks!!!
Hope all is well, ride safe....Rob E

Oh & forgot to mention that my brother lives in Telluride and works on that Gondola; thanks for supporting my family with your post & photos! He & his wife and two kids never tire of those amazing views!

Hi Tom - Looks like the trip is going great! I'm catching up from my completely disconnected trip to Greece; it was quite spectacular. Also, a big week last week as I launched my new business blog! My next post will be about "cloud computing"; this blog of yours is a great example of using this technology. Would you be ok with me linking over to your blog in my post? No worries if you don't see this and/or would rather I not...Thanks for all the updates and photos!

Love you pictures and blog as always... newest news her is that Anja broke her foot quite seriously. Happened last Saturday..week before recital.... while she was at the park playing kick ball with Jaxon... she will have surgery June 29th to have 1 to 3 pins put in to repair the bones that were literally broken in half. She will be then 8 to 12 weeks with no weight bearing... this last week has been very hard and painful... a summer with no driving or chasing Jaxon will not be fun... of course I will be doing lots of Jaxon chasing!!!

You must always have a strong tailwind behind you, because you seem to be covering long distances rather quickly! If you're not careful, you'll end up in Doland for more than two weeks! But, maybe being a "townie" again is on your bucket list.
Enjoying your blogs! Travel safely! See you in a few weeks!

Glad you were able to catch up with Mel and your other friends. As always, beautiful scenery in the CO mountains. I'm very much looking forward to the week we'll ride together. Continued safe travels.
