Day Nine / South Island

Whale watching or should I say Whale tail watching! Was good, although I did get a wee bit sea sick! We also saw some dolphins which was a great bonus.

Kaikoura to Franz Josef we did it! Went across Lewis pass and it took about 7 1/2 hours, with a few breaks. The roads were really winding with shear drops. Arrived at our campsite about 7 pm. The campsite was in the rainforest which was really cool
