Today we went into Melbourne. We followed the coast for a bit past Werribee South and Altona and then headed onto the M1 and over the west Gate Bridge. We managed to find a parking spot that was an all day Sunday one not far from the Queen Victoria Markets where we spent most of the day. The temperature finally dropped about 4am this morning when I woke up cold and had to put the doona on! So different from yesterdays heat. We headed along the Great Ocean Road and up to Anglesea. The coastline is beautiful and we stopped at Anglesea to take a look at the beach. Also stopped at the infamous Bells Beach. Not much of a wave here today! We went onto Torquay which was packed. We left Killarney this morning under a bit of grey sky and a lttle drizzle. Commenced the drive east along the Great Ocean Road. We stopped at the Bay of Islands and then the Bay of Martyrs. Huge rocks that were once part of the mainland but have been eroded away by the wind and waves. We headed down to Port Campbell and have camped the night at the Recreation Reserve.

Sunday 30th - Drove down through the South Grampians to the coast this morning. The National Park is beautiful with quite a few mountains to climb. There seems to be a lot more trees on the hills in this area of the park. We stopped at Port Fairy and had lunch at the beach and then took a walk through the town. Friday 28th - Left Naracoorte this morning and drove down via Horsham to the Grampians National Park. We are staying at a very full caravan park just near Lake Belfield. It is further away from the hustle and bustle of Halls Gap but still close to all the walks and lookouts. We walked down lots of steps to Mackenzie Falls.
