Just arrived to my first layover destination in Chicago. I had a quick flight from Toronto that went by in no time. I was on a really small plane and sat beside a Japanese girl who was also going to Tokyo. She was in Toronto seeing a Madonna concert because it was the only place she could find tickets to see her so she traveled all the way from Japan! I thought I was a pretty dedicated music fan but not sure I'd ever fork out the money for such a long trip to see...

Only 8 more days until I embark on this incredible journey and I couldn't be more excited. Saw this today and found it very inspirational. A lot of people have told me I will change so much while I'm gone, but really I hope to just become more myself
