Today we set off early to see Red Square and the Kremlin and we were not dissappointed. Moscow is a really beautiful city and very rich and clean as well. Our first stop was Lenin's Mausoleum and yes it is true (I had thought the guide books were mistaken) but there he is embalmed in a glass coffin that you walk around and look at (spooky!!) We then went on a tour of St Basils Cathedral and finally the Russian History Museum. Actually I sat about most of the time in the museum whilst Nick looked at the exhibits which were as per usual it would seem a number of random objects which just don't make sense and of course this time the descriptions were in Russian which didn't help!! We hung around the square until it got dark to see it all lit up which was fab and then headed back to our hostel for a warm!
