We were sad to leave Stefan and Naski, we had had such a great time, and been spoilt, but it was time to carry on with our adventure. We had a great christmas here with Stefan and Naski! There were 13 of us for Christmas as lots of friends and relatives came over, we had a great time. Stefan and Naski spoiled us with pressies that we can use on our travels, solar chargers, clothes, food etc. We will miss their company and the luxury! We had a fantastic time in Madagascar - awesome scenery, amazing wildlife, happy and friendly locals (and a few creepy crawlies!) Lots has happened since our last blog entry, internet coverage has been very poor in Madagascar! From ramanafana we moved onto a private eco reserve where the accommodation was very basic, wood cabins with shared long drop toilets and electric for two hours a day. Run by Daniel a malagese wildlife enthusiast, he introduces us to his tamed white bellied lemur and shows us the nocturnal mouse lemurs (very cute) and chameleons that live around the lodge. Here we are sat outside a restaurant in the warm climate of the Madagascar rainforest. We continue to search for lemurs and enjoy the Madagascar country and people. The people are very friendly saying "salami" (well that's what it sounds like) to greet everyone they meet. They always smile or laugh when we use this greeting too.
