We are moving north and it is getting cooler. We flew from Panjim (Goa) to Delhi in a new plane. On arrival in Delhi we took the metro, which started with a ride in a crappy old bus to the metro station, all rather odd. Once at Delhi proper we experienced delhi tuk tuk travel, mayhem, chaos. We were sad to leave Patnem and especially sad to say good-bye to Whinny (our holiday dog) but we're hopeful that some new tourists will adopt her. We've been in India for over four weeks now. And we've spent most of it on the beach! Even Craig has something towards a tan! This week we've been on a river trip with Ali and our new friend Guy. Peter, Ali's husband is doing an intensive yoga course and so isn't around much in the daytime. Hampi is on the tourist route, a "must go" in Goa. It is a world heritage site, an ancient town, about 500 years old. And really interesting. We took the train for a 6 hour journey. We have relaxed into the laid back pace of life here on South Goa. We have made our little bungalow a home, even buying practical things like crockery, cooking utensils and even our own bedding.
