A Merry 'What's this all aboot' from sunny Canada!
I am not feeling on top form today, came down with a pretty nasty cold last night, so may be a muted blog :-(
For my first full day in Canada I went to the observation tower with Steven, which is like a miniture Stratosphere I suppose, a saucer on a needle. The views were again, spectacular (You will sense a theme developing). One side you could look out and see a busy metropolitan city, and the other side was amazing hills full of trees, and snow topped mountains. We had a bite to eat, my first chinese in a while, and went for a wonder around the town centre and the Imax theatre. Came back home and had a lovely meal and a nice evening in catching up on all the news! The next day, Saturday, me and Steven headed up to Whistler, the site of the Winter olympics in 2010. Again.....the views driving there along the coast were the best I have ever seen really. Beautiful bays, mountains, sheer rock faces, everything you would want. We got to the site, and had a walk round the village, which was fairly trendy, to my suprise. We then went on a nice walk to the 'lost lake', which was a real find, again, perfect scenery, I have got plenty of pictures to put on anon but they dont really do it all justice. We spotted a nudey jetty at the lake, with quite a few people on, alas my camera got blurry when I zoomed in that far, oh well.
We came back, had a trip to Wal-mart, a place which I have a strange fixation with, a story for another day!
The next day we went for a posh lunch with Auntie Doreen and Uncle Brian, at Horseshoe Bay by a fjord, I had Chicken Penne with salad and sourdough bread, twas lovely. After this me and Steven drove out to go Karting, but it was closed, and then to pitch and putt but this was too busy so just ended up doing a lot of driving! Had a nice trip to Wal mart though and I managed to pick up a few nic nacs, and some sour skittles huzzah!
Today I havent really done much, just moping round the house and a bit of chat. I am trying to sort my flights out home which have been a right pain. Hopefuly I will feel better for my epic travels back home, anon.
TTFN!
