Just a quick message from snowy sapporo. We arrived on saturday at about 6pm after a 11hr train journey, (well split accross 3 trains) It has snowed all day here today, it is fascinating to see, I have never seen so much snow before. The only slightly annoying thing is that some things seem to be closed as it is slightly out of season. We have another day in sapporo and we will go to the winter olympic resort. Well myself and kid have now arrived in Tokyo and it is bloody raining! That was one thing I was not expecting so try not to laugh too much. I know that i would if it was the other way round! We have got 3 days in the capital and then we are off to the delights of Northern japan and the cold weather, -2 apparently, is that more laughter i hear! Right I am off to eat some more indescribable meat and noodles, Take care
