Just a quick message from snowy sapporo. We arrived on saturday at about 6pm after a 11hr train journey, (well split accross 3 trains) It has snowed all day here today, it is fascinating to see, I have never seen so much snow before. The only slightly annoying thing is that some things seem to be closed as it is slightly out of season. We have another day in sapporo and we will go to the winter olympic resort. From here we will go south to Sendai and then down to Fuji. We were intending to go to the tip of Japan　to a place called Wakinaii (or something like that) but the journey would have taken 6 hours and the weather up the very tip of the island seemed a little bit too harsh.
