Well as I ended in my last entry we weren't sure where we were going after Airlie Beach, we let Genie decide! We ended up 2 hours further up the coast in a place called Townsville where we left the car and caught the ferry over to Magnetic Island (so called because Captain Cooks compass went crazy as he sailed passed it, bit like 'Lost' if you ask me!). Well I've been in Byron Bay for the last four days and now we've travelled in the Genie slightly up the coast to Brisbane or 'Brisy' as the Aussies would call it (they just whack a 'y' on the end of every word!).Byron Bay was awesome definately reccommended, probably my favourite place in Aussie so far! Well its the 27th of December and our Christmas festivities are coming to an end but thats ok because new year is round the corner. It was very different spending Christmas day in a hot climate such as Australia but it was a good experience.
